For safety reasons, guests must be experienced Lionfish Hunters and/or experienced snorkelers for a number of years!
The Lionfish Hunt is a specialized adventure for experienced snorkelers. The lionfish is venomous and must be handled with care. Safety is our first priority. The Lionfish Hunt Adventure is snorkeling to spear the Lionfish using a Hawaiian sling or a hook made especially for hooking this invasive species. The Lionfish meat is delicious and after a great hunt at the end of the day they make a wonderful meal. The Lionfish Hunt Adventure works to place the Lionfish on the Food Chain where it belongs!
