A smooth boat flight across to Exuma’s Sandy Cay, home of the Northern Bahamian Rock Iguanas. Less than 1,300 of the sub-species Cyclura cychlura figginsi are alive today. They are listed on the ICUN Red List for extinction. These awesome reptiles are one of a kind. Their cay provides them with everything necessary for an increasing population to thrive! A wildlife species on the edge of extinction, this tour provides an opportunity to witness the Bahamas efforts to save the iguanas and gives insight into how fragile nature really is.
